The Risk Policy Aftermath of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake, Tsunami and Fukushima Nuclear Accident

Dr Atsuo Kishimoto, with the Japanese Research Institute of Science for Safety and Sustainability of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, will discuss the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, the Fukushima accident, and the ensuing changes in Japan's policies governing natural disasters and nuclear power.This event is co-sponsored by the Energy Initiative, the Rethinking Regulation initiative, the Environmental Institutions Seminar Series and the student Environmental Law Society.Registration is required.
