"Geopower: The Politics of Life and Land in Frantz Fanon's Writing"

Stephanie Clare, 2013-14 Postdoctoral Associate in Women's Studies will present her talk, "Geopower: The Politics of Life and Land in Frantz Fanon's Writing" on Monday, December 2nd at 5:30 pm in the East Duke Parlors. Professor Clare was an Andrew W. Mellon postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford in gender and feminist theory. Her research and teaching interests include feminist science studies, 20th century French and Francophone philosophy, queer and feminist theory and cultural studies. She is currently working on a book manuscript, Earthly Encounters: Geopower, Foucault, and Feminist Queer Theory.
