Rethinking Modernity: working group meetings

This working group intends to 1) consider anew some of the master narratives of modernity (e.g., Foucault, Blumenberg, Gadamer, MacIntyre, Taylor, Latour), and 2) conduct a series of discussions organized around such traditional topoi as secularism, rights, or the print revolution. This working group is interdisciplinary by nature and our meetings are open to the broader scholarly communities of Duke and nearby institutions; we ask that you please RSVP before each meeting as space and refreshments are limited.
