Rethinking Modernity: working group meetings

Rob Mitchell, Professor of English at Duke, will be our guest at a symposium devoted to his recent article, "Population Aesthetics in Romantic and Post-Romantic Literature" (available on the webpage - please rsvp for the pdf password). In preparation for this event, those interested in attending should take a look at Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and consider what problems the aesthetics of population poses for the concept of human rights.
