The Duke Student Chapter of Society of American Foresters (SAF) is hosting a one-day symposium. The symposium will ask how risks to forests are expected to change in the future and how managers, investment & finance firms, and policy experts are - or could - address the change. A keynote speaker, and 3 panels of experts - including alumni and industry leaders - will share their perspectives on risks and adaptation in forestry. Participants range from conservation experts to timberland investment managers, from biomass production to research science. For registration and agenda go to the website.
