Lynn W. Day Distinguished Lectureship in Forest & Conservation History

Dr . David Cleaves, climate change advisor to the Chief of the U.S. Forest Service, will deliver the 2013 Lynn W. Day Distinguished Lectureship in Forest and Conservation History. The talk "Forest Conservation and Climate Change: Adaptation of Science, Policy, and Practices," will trace the history of dealing with climate change from its beginnings up through the establishment of the Obama Administration's Climate Action Plan, offering recommendations for a future that will require adaptation of our science, policy, and practices.
