Eric Pritchard, baroque violin; William Conable, baroque cello; Randall Love, fortepiano. Presented in association with DUMIC (Duke University Musical Instrument Collections), using a circa. 1800 fortepiano by Smith and Wolff from the Collections' holdings. Eric Pritchard is Professor of the Practice of Music at Duke and a member of the Ciompi Quartet. Randall Love is Assoc. Professor of the Practice of Music at Duke and an authority on historical performance practice on original instruments. William Conable is Emeritus Professor of Music at the Ohio State University, and has appeared as cello soloist with the Columbus, Youngstown, Springfield, Knox County, and Welsh Hills Symphonies. For eleven years he was Principal Cellist of the Columbus Symphony, and has served in the same position for the Youngstown and Springfield Symphonies and the Dayton Opera.
