Islam Awareness Month: Diversity of Culture and Art in Islam
Learn about Islamic art through Arabic calligraphy and mosaics, and even try some out on your own with real calligraphy pens! Professor Habib from Duke's Arabic department will lead the calligraphy portion and Professor Glaire Anderson from UNC will teach us about Islamic architecture. Location: Gray 220.
