Peer Review of Educational Videos

Would you like to have one or two of your educational videos reviewed by your peers? This session will be your chance! If you would like to have videos reviewed, send email to e.a.evans@duke.edu no later than Wednesdsay October 29. Provide a URL or be prepared to bring your videos on a USB drive to the session. Be sure you bring an MP4 or MOV file. Depending on video length and number of submissions, we may limit the review to a segment. In addition to your peers, staff from the Duke Digital Initiative and the Center for Instructional Technology will be on hand for this review opportunity. We'll look at things like technical implementation (audio, camera angle, lighting), slide design (if your video uses slides), delivery style (vocal tone, hand gestures, etc). Take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to continue to improve the videos you create! This session is part of the Videos in Teaching & Learning (ViTaL) program of the Duke Digital Initiative.
