Voice Master Class with Risa Poniros

The public is invited to observe this free class, originally scheduled with Jan Cornelius. Soprano Risa Poniros is a native of Raleigh, NC. She has performed extensively in both opera and musical theatre, and has performed solo works with the North Carolina Symphony, Capital Opera of Raleigh, Knoxville Opera Company, Asheville Symphony Chorus, Brevard Music Festival, North Carolina Theatre, National Opera Company and Savannah Onstage. She served on the Music Faculty of Meredith College for 15 years and at Mount Olive College as Assistant Professor of Music where she was responsible for the vocal and choral programs. Dr. Poniros currently serves on the Voice Faculty at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, and enjoys opportunities to serve as a guest clinician, recitalist, and concert performer throughout the Southeast, while maintaining a private voice studio in Raleigh, NC.
