Robert Maniura Lecture: "Images, Agency, and the Miraculous"

After a previous career in financial management in industry, Robert Maniura studied the history of art at the Courtauld Institute, taking his PhD in 1998.Maniura has held fellowships at Villa I Tatti, the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, and the Netherlands University Art History Institute in Florence.Maniura joined Birkbeck in 2001. He lectures on the art of both Northern and Southern Europe in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance at the BA and MA level.
