Hyphenated American

Photographer and Duke alum Angela Zhang will discuss the issues surrounding immigration and assimilation explored her exhibit "Hyphenated American" with Gunther Peck, professor of history and public policy. The exhibit is on display in Rubenstein Hall. The photographs explore the tension between the struggle to assimilate into American society, yet always still standing out.
