Please join us in Crowell 108 for the research presentation of Henry Daniel, Professor of Dance at the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. He is being considered for a faculty position on the Duke Dance Program.

Henry Daniel, Ph.D. is a professor in Dance at the Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. His specialty area is sociology-based Dance, choreography, performance technology, Choreology, and Laban Analysis. Trained in diverse styles and genres with The Julliard School, NY, the Boston Conservatory of Music, Joffrey Ballet and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Daniel is an internationally recognized performer, choreographer and educator. His prodigious artistic output includes installations, films, and choreography, and he is Artistic Director of his own dance company, Full Performing Bodies.
