Vanessa Punal & Mai Ahn Vu
Neurobiology Student Seminar

Vanessa is a graduate student in the Kay Lab. She seeks to understand how neural circuits form in terms of the genetic instructions underlying their wiring. Furthermore, via manipulations of select molecules, she hopes to elucidate how circuit organization translates to circuit function.

Mai-Anh Vu is a graduat student in the Adcock Lab. She is interested in cross-species translational cognitive neuroscience. Her current research projects combine in-vivo electrophysiological recordings in rodents with fMRI in humans to investigate neural circuitry and networks underlying cognitive processes such as motivation, learning, and memory.
