VFF: Visualizing People: A Year of People Analytics in the Duke Health System
Human resources departments have traditionally relied on intuition and anecdotal information to make decisions about recruitment, retention, and work culture. The field of people analytics is new to most HR departments and seeks to apply statistical thinking and data analysis to every step of the employee life cycle in order to help organizations make the best decisions possible. Data visualization and data storytelling become central priorities, allowing complex ideas to be communicated to audiences with all levels of data literacy. In this presentation, I'll walk through a variety of visual analyses created in the first year of people analytics in the Duke health system.
