"Publishing in High-Impact Journals: Perspective of a Nature Methods Editor"

What happens when you submit a paper to a journal? What is the job of a professional editor? What are we looking for and how do we make our decisions? What is the relationship between Nature Journals? Find out in this presentation.

Nina Vogt has been a manuscript editor at Nature Methods for more than five years. She handles manuscripts in a variety of areas, including neuroscience, stem cells, model organisms and biophysics. Before joining Nature Methods, she obtained her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tuebingen, Germany, and conducted postdoctoral research at New York University.
