The Graduate Scholars Colloquium provides a site of vibrant intellectual exchange for graduate students across the disciplines engaged in the study of gender or in feminist and queer analysis. The colloquium is designed to address the work of its participants, and by so doing, to explore emerging questions in the field of Feminist Studies and offer an opportunity to advance work, commentary, and discussion in an interdisciplinary setting. In addition to graduate students (M.A., Ph.D., M.F.A., and professional students), faculty and postdoctoral fellows participate in the colloquium. Many of the students pursuing the Certificate in Feminist Studies attend, and eventually present their work to, the Colloquium. For those interested in feminist and queer scholarship, the Colloquium provides an ongoing, cross-departmental conversation that allows active participation.
