Resisting, Recovering, Remembering: A Panel on Asian/American Communities and Solidarities at Duke

In 2002, Duke students held the first ever Asian American Studies Teach-In where they presented the first set of demands to the university. Two decades later, students have continued to organize together to build a space for ourselves on Duke's campus. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Asian American Studies Teach-in, please join us in celebration of our history and successes as students and organizers! On Friday, we will be hosting an open hours space for students, alumni, and faculty to (re)connect. On Saturday, we will be inviting a panel of Duke alumni to speak on how they navigated Duke as students and organizers and reflect upon their experiences. Food will be catered.
