In Conversation: Authors of Roosevelt Institute's 'Hidden Rules of Race' and Brookings Institution's Richard Reeves' 'Dream Hoarders'

The Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity presents 'The Hidden Rules of Race and Dream Hoarders: A Conference Exploring The Historical and Contemporary Landscape of Race, Wealth, and Health Disparities in the United States.'

The Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity is partnering with the Roosevelt Institute and the Brookings Institution's Richard Reeves for a conference concerning in the topics written about in two books on October 26, 2017: a forthcoming Roosevelt Institute book being published by the Cambridge University Press, 'The Hidden Rules of Race,' and Richard Reeves' 'Dream Hoarders: How the American Upper Middle Class Is Leaving Everyone Else in the Dust.' The convening will include multiple panel discussions concerning racialized health and wealth disparities in a national environment where so much attention is being paid to the "white working class."

A reception with hors d'oeuvres will be held at the JB Duke Hotel from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm followed by a formal reading and book signing from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library Room 153.
