Striving for Culture Change: Promoting Civility and Enhancing Our Ability to Care for Our Patients and Each Other

Dr. Dinushika Mohottige is a 2nd year clinical research fellow in the Division of Nephrology and serves on the Department of Medicine Civility Leadership team, which was designed to promote and maintain a culture of diversity, respect, inclusion, and civility by providing resources and support for incidents of bias and harassment. She served as a 2018-2019 Internal Medicine Chief Resident, and also currently serves as a Civility Champion in the Department of Medicine.
