Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has rapidly transformed our world in unprecedented ways. At 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy-in collaboration with the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity and Polis: Center for Politics-will host a virtual event to address the pandemic's far-reaching policy implications.

Moderated by Sanford Professor Christina Gibson-Davis, these back-to-back 45-minute conversations will be led first by Sanford Professors Mac McCorkle and Douglas Brook ("Politics, Budgets, and Policy Failure"), and then by Sanford Professors Sandy Darity and Allan Freyer ("Policy Responses, Social Justice, and Non-Profit Groups").
