Synopsis: In the sweltering heat of northern Israel's Beit Shean Valley, a group of young activists leads a protest with a simple goal: demanding kibbutz Nir David to allow access to the river that flows through the kibbutz, as the law permits but its members deny. The director of The Waterfront joins them as their protest evolves and intensifies, raising questions about social inequalities, accumulation by dispossession, and the rule of law that extends far beyond the valley's borders.
