Duke Engineering Design Ethics Showcase
Students in DESIGNTK 540: Design Ethics and Social Innovation have been exploring design futures and participatory design with a lens on ethics and accessibility. Students will present a futures vision and a mobility-related design intervention (a product, service, system or experience) inspired by that future. They will lead a participatory workshop involving you and Duke students to co-design a reimagining of their proposed design. You will have the chance to engage with two participatory workshops. We will have a panel-style feedback session at the end for you to provide critical and constructive response. Please note the focus isn't on designed artifacts, but rather, the participatory design workshop and its intersection with futures is the main outcome in of itself. Input from this session will be used to guide teams' iteration on the process.
