Yes, We Can Do Big Things: Lessons Learned from Rebuilding America

Rubenstein Distinguished Lecture
Thursday, September 07, 2023
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Mitch Landrieu
Rubenstein Distinguished Lecture

Working in public service presents a multitude of challenges, and Mitch Landrieu, Senior Advisor to President Biden, has overcome his fair share of them. Hear him speak about lessons learned from rebuilding New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and how he is applying those insights in his current task to help President Biden rebuild America back better than it was before. Landrieu will also discuss his approach to implementing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law -- a once-in-a-generation, $1.2 trillion opportunity to invest in our roads, bridges, airports, high-speed internet, a clean energy economy, and more.

This lecture is part of the David M. Rubenstein Distinguished Lecture Series. David M. Rubenstein is a Duke alumnus and former chair of Duke's Board of Trustees. The David M.
