16th Annual Feminist Theory Workshop
Feminist Theory Workshop (FTW) has, since the first gathering in 2007, promoted diverse dialogue among scholars of feminist theory and fostered a vibrant intellectual community. To that end, we bring together internationally recognized keynote speakers and emerging young scholars to engage in lively and focused debate.
After two years of pandemic-imposed restrictions, we look forward to holding this year's FTW in-person at Duke University on March 24 and 25, 2023. While plans are subject to change depending on public-health recommendations, we plan to offer a hybrid version of FTW, which will allow even more scholars to participate while considerably diminishing the financial and environmental impact of their participation.
Remote participants will have the opportunity to watch keynote lectures and pose questions, participate in remote breakout seminars, and even gather for conversation in a spatial-chat enabled meeting space. We are proud that we can continue to offer this event with no registration fees, making it accessible to anyone who can attend, but health, space, labor, and financial considerations require us to limit both remote and in-person registration.
