DREAMer Panel

Duke Students for Humane Borders (DSHB) is hosting a DREAMer panel next Thursday, November 21st, 6-7pm in Old Chem Rm 201. This panel of students is from the NC Dream Team, a group of undocumented youth that organize around social justice and immigration issues, particularly educational rights. These students entered the United States as minors and now are working to overcome the obstacles that prevent them from achieving higher education. In the panel, these students will share their experiences of growing up undocumented in North Carolina and fighting for their own rights.
