Effective Altruism: Duke Career Workshop

A lot of students at Duke and around the world want to make a difference with their careers, but aren't sure how to do it or what options to pursue. 80,000 Hours, an Oxford-based non-profit, works to solve this problem by conducting and publishing in-depth research on how to find a fulfilling and highly impactful career. At this workshop, we'll use 80,000 Hours' work to give you concrete, comprehensive and personalized advice on how to make a real, significant difference with your career. At worst, you'll have eaten some free food and wasted two hours of your life. At best, you'll have figured out how to have a meaningful and socially impactful life. We hope you'll join us!
