Bass Connections Showcase 2019

Come learn more about Bass Connections and find out what these research teams of faculty, graduate students, undergraduates and external partners have accomplished this year.

Schedule

3:30: The reception and poster session begin. Cast your vote for the audience choice award for best poster.

4:25: Dean Valerie Ashby, Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, gives opening remarks, and students from five Bass Connections project teams present lightning talks (see details at https://bassconnections.duke.edu/events/bass-connections-showcase-2019).

5:05: Edward J. Balleisen, Vice Provost for Interdisciplinary Studies, recognizes this year's recipients of the Bass Connections Award for Outstanding Mentorship and the Bass Connections Student Research Awards.

5:15: The reception and poster session continue until 6:00. We will announce the audience choice award for best poster at 5:45 (voting closes at 5:30).
