1:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Duke Decolonizing Global Health working group, in collaboration with the WHO Centre for Global Health Histories, invite you to attend the Decolonizing Global Health Conference on January 31st, 2020.

The mission of this conference is to create a space for students, academics, and practitioners to join the rising tide of communities around the globe working to challenge structural violence that stems from historical colonialism and contemporary neo-colonialist practices in global health; and to work toward global health futures that are anti-colonial, anti-racist, and non-exploitative.

The conference will feature an array of speakers that engage in global health as activists, researchers, practitioners, and organizers. We welcome all who are interested in decolonization agendas and their impact on contemporary systems, such as global health.

Please register before the event. The event will be livestreamed for remote viewers.
