Join Imams Ronald Shaheed and Abdul Hafeez Waheed in a conversation about the legacy and life of Imam W.D. Mohammad.
In an informal setting, this conversation will address the history of Islam in America from the 1900's to today, with a focus on the emergence of the Nation of Islam (NOI), in Detroit with Elijah Mohammed and his eventual student Malcolm X. The discussion will be led by two students of Imam W. Deen Mohammed who in 1975 led the NOI trajectory into mainstream Islam and the diverse religious fabric of America.
