Duke & UNC Alt. Proteins Conference

Join us at the nation's first-ever student-led alternative proteins conference, hosted by the Duke and UNC chapters of the Good Food Institute's Alt Protein Project! The event will feature keynote addresses by Ethan Brown (CEO, Beyond Meat) and T.K. Pillan (Founder, Veggie Grill and PowerPlant Partners), two panel discussions on alternative proteins' path to mass adoption and the importance of public-private partnerships in driving growth in the space, a business idea pitch competition, and a networking reception.

Attendance is free for students and $40 for working professionals, and includes a plant-based lunch buffet! While the conference runs from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, you may join or leave at any point throughout the day.
